Christopher G. Worley
Chris is a Research Professor of Management at Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School. He teaches in the Doctor of Business Management (DBA) and the Master of Science In Organization Development (MSOD) programs. Chris is also an affiliated research scientist at USC's Center for Effective Organizations where he teaches their Strategic Organization Design workshop. Chris worked in France at NEOMA Business School (2014-2018) where he founded the Center for Leadership and Organization Effectiveness (CLEO) and served as its Director of Strategy. He is also a former director of the MSOD program. Chris earned his Ph.D. from University of Southern California.
In addition to his articles, chapters, and presentations on agility, strategic change and organization design, Chris is co-author of six books, including The Agility Factor, Becoming Agile, Management Reset, The best seller Built to Change, Integrated Strategic Change, and seven editions of Organization Development and Change, the leading textbook in the field. His most recent book, How to Do Relevvant Research - From the Ivory Tower to the Real World was released in November 2021.
Chris is a member of the Academy of Management, NTL, and the OD Network. He is on the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science. His consulting clients include Fortune 500 organizations in the technology, consumer products, and financial services industries along with other non-profit and government organizations.
Chris lives in California in the Lake Tahoe area with his wife Debbie.
